Add "godly mobility" to the section of pros. Shade is one of the few characters that has a teleport and a flash jump. Amazing in hard magnus and chaos vellum and other situations. The teleport even allows you to "telecast" spirit claw so if chaos queen tries to "to ashes" you or if pierre tries to hit you, you can teleport backwards even in mid animation.

Besides, Shade is hard magnus' worse enemy. Other jobs die and have to rebuff. Not shade, all his buffs are passives.

And remove "low damage range" from the cons. That's neither a pro nor a con. Damage ranges between other jobs mean nothing. I'd explain it to you but I'm sure you understand partially since you did put "-high base damage" on the Pros list.

I was never hyped for shade, but when i tried it, i quit my lumi and sold all my stuff to fund a shade <3

Im in love with the class. I dont lv anymore cuz no point but bossing and questing is fun and easy with shade.

I was on the hype train for Shade, got so much ready and had pretty good range. After getting a high level on it and bossing, ksh grind, i realised it was a really boring class.
Every class is repetitive but I just didn't like shade. I don't know anyone personally who really loved Shade, others just tolerated it. I think it really goes down to personal preference. I just ended up not liking the classes endgame skills. I really wish I did like shade, though. I have so much great gear and NX on her.

I never funded my shade because I only made it for the ring and the so-so link skill. I found the class really boring because of how slow it moved and the main skills almost all looked the same.

i dont think so. i gave it more funds than my zero, and my zero out damages it. same goes for my xenon. even with the 2 hyper skills and 2 hyper skill points at 170, i found it to be boring. you need decent SI, along with green MPE potions to attack decently. it does have bind, its probably a great boss helper/attacker, but I just found it to be boring and slow.

All of these bosses can be taken out in 15 minutes or less, anything else I don't have time for while playing at work.
Zak / Czak, horntail, krexel, easy / normal gollux, easy hilla, all of the showa bosses, and that's all i've really attempted.
I've given up on gms though

I have a "terrible" 70k range on my shade and I have had more fun with this class than any other I've ever played in this game. ( aside from pre BB shadowers )

you guys have some mad funding. i probably won't even reach 150k range.

Mines is 200 and after I get it strong enough i'm going for 250. Eventually. One of these days. Don't hold your breath for it though.

But yes it's worth playing, but keep in mind that it takes more for it to be stronger since we don't have much in the way of buffs

I mained a Shade not to long ago, and I'm having a blast.

idk but low damage range is including their buffs, someone said getting 2m-2m on shade was harder than the other classes.

i find every class fun
