Nexon you forgot buccaneer?
are buccaneers trash?
i mean how did they forget to do some more skill balances for this class in the future. Dragon strike is useless and Octopunch is outdated, i mean come on someone else must have said something especially since shades are pretty much the result of how strong knuckle classes should have been.
The buccaneer sub forum is depressing. "ruined our unique class with crappy un-aesthetic skills." "yea we were never good at damage but at least we were fun before the update"

Buccaneers are just average, not really up there not really low. With enough funding you can do most bosses with ease, and have some incentives to do CRA because of the pdr ignore.
I know there are alot of stronger classes out there, i tried shade and i tried thunder breaker but i always seem to gravitate back to buccaneer. It can use a few tweaks. I mean the explanation you get from nexon of buccaneer is a combo'ing class, energy based.
I just like punching stuff xD

@GreatBolshy: The no mobility is part of the mechanic of that class (lol). I thought the delay cuts were really significant, plus buffing in tank mode means never having to exit it. The defense aspect is weird because they get defense from mech riding etc and they get damage reduction and satellite safety, i guess it's just the larger hitbox that bothers people.

[/quote]mechs aren't getting fixed. it's more or less a slap in the face to mechs. sure, they get a damage increase, but what's that supposed to do for them when it comes to actually killing those bosses? mechs already have decent damage and people complained that they sucked. nexon revamps them thinking they need more damage when it's really better mobility and defence that they need.
eh, i don't like the direction nexon are taking with buccs. imo, they're becoming more like mihile where they're basically a mash of copy-paste skills from other classes. or they're just making small changes to the class.

Mechanics did wait a looooooonggg time before getting any buffs,bucc is an explorer,nexon will never leave u behind.juste be gratefull for that and wait.

@bluelight Mechs are more neglected than mercs ever were, sit down.
Mercedes have gotten a buff every patch O_O. in fact, a few streamers say they are heavily underrated.
Like mercedes is not neglected...
