Corsairs make me sad
so much potential to be a great class and now they are just do flawed in design and theme. If they wanted corsair to be powerful i don't understand why they gave us RF. give us the NL treatment.. SP + quintfire... just imagine jump shooting along with your octopi or crew. The only saving grace for this class is ELE and what a great skill this is between the sound effects, power, animation.

@Voidam: The only one that comes to mind is xenon, but at least they have more lines for consistent damage output on higher level mobs. For cannoneers, if you miss, you miss completely.

A LOT of classes have much slower attacks tho?

I trained from 10-160 with green mpe pots and dsi gloves. So I didn't find it slow haha
I'd love it of they got rid of key down rapid fire
so goddam awful gameplay wise
I'd much rather something like op has suggested using a variety of bullet shooting skills or like others have posted with emphasis on unique individual skills like ice splitter and flamer
instead of key down hurricane duplicate
I miss old battle ship
I literally only made my Sair for Battleship way back when. So sad it got removed, it was such a cool skill

Honestly if they got rid of Rapid Fire someone will be complaining that Corsairs can't keep up with classes with Rapid Fire Skills.
I just want to be able to choose who we summon. Honestly. I already have 100% crit, I don't need Valerie. >.<
Nexon underrated guns for the weapons they truly are.
idk i've always wanted to make one but like they're weird & weak & nobody plays them Lol
@Graystroke You really love cannoneers huh?
Ever try one?

I'm ashamed of my own crew.
I feel silly saying it, but I miss Flamethrower and Ice Spitter, especially since elemental bullets were so underutilized. I liked the idea of Battleship, but other classes take the idea of "mounted combat" in a much better direction (Mechs and WHs in particular) and being a "ranged summoner class" with your crew could be cooler if they took the idea a different way (like, changing the effects of your ammunition based on who you summon, etc.)
...Honestly, I would have loved it if Corsairs were extremely mobile run-and-gunners with a vast array of artillery, but I can play Corsairs as they are now, glassy defenses aside.
@Graystroke You really love cannoneers huh?
The ign "Battleship" was available in league of legends the other day. I cried because.. nostalgia .. good 'ol pirate days..
P.S. I obviously kept the ign MyBigA$$Cannon
i miss the pirate ship
CANNON OP. But yeah i feel you. The "ranged" classes in the game aren't really ranged
Why can a combat class hit farther than a class with guns? Makes me mad.
Actually, the only saving grace is Double Down - Saving Grace.
the flaw in theme is, if they wanted a strong ranged pirate. corsair should have been what cannoneer is now. We're some weird ass hybrid of terrible bowman scaling without the op final attacks or avoid or puppet or speed O_O.
I don't see the flaw in theme. I really like Broadside, even if it's mostly useless.
