I love the events. Stellar Detectives has a fun map and PQ, and I look forward to getting all the achievements. Then there's also the Monster Kindergarten medal and the time capsule chairs to get.

This patch is mainly just a "commercial break" before the "big event", at least for me.

I might look over the Stellar Detectives content, but good chances that the next patch will hit first by then.

The souls are the only interesting thing for me. What rather annoys me is we didn't get the changes Zen had 2 weeks after their initially revamp! *Sigh*

Other than that just events I could care less about like usual.

You have no obligation to reply if you don't feel the need to. If my response "triggers" you I apologize, it's not my intention.

You sound as if you want me to get triggered or something. Not everyone has the same perspective as you, try to understand that. It's about situation as well. There are people on both sides. Many work hard just to work hard, yes, but a handful of people are actually fortunate enough to have it made and/or work hard for a specific goal (maybe even more in my case then yours)... Don't generalize and judge from what you see on a public forum. In the end it's just a game, don't try to drag "the real world" into this. It has no correlation to your work ethic in world world. In fact, if you don't want to spend hours on a game, and want to enjoy it casually and still reap benefits from the game, where is the harm in that? Hardy an unfortunate real world. Also, I didn't complain one bit in my post, I just gave people heads up, if you think otherwise, quote it. If you have read this far, thank you for reading and I apologize if any of it seems charged it's just it seems like you are making false claims and attacking my character instead of making a coherent and otherwise constructive response to anything I just posted.

@eternalmemory: This is going to tick you off on so many levels but- No one in life is obligated to reward you and or be nice to you, nor is life itself obigated to give you things and or reward you for your effort. Thus is the unfortunate real world. We work hard not simply because we anticipate rewards but because we /want/ to work hard.

I feel like that triggers you on so many levels so as civily as possible, and with all due respect this is what I make of the world. We take it or leave it. If we're gonna take it anyways, might aswell enjoy it instead of fussing over it further.
If it fusses us too much, well, let's just leave it.

be very warned... A LOT of farming and killing things...im on the 8th or 10th quest...had to kill almost 3k mobs for drops...in total ive had to collect over 1k items, I have on 2 greed pendents and a spider familiar and the only way i can decently get the items are through D. invasion, which only gives about 100-150 at a time. For the amount of mobs you kill and the chances of getting the item it takes pretty long. Grind hard my fellow maplers

I'm interested in some of the new chairs... but that's about it.

Also, banishing Gaga & Cassandra back to the the event map, although welcomed, is a little too late at this point. =/

Jeepers! Some of you are so negative... I am liking they are banishing them two ho-bags back to the event hall, hopefully that will get rid of some of the ridiculous lag/chop, so I am happy for that. If the events have medals, those are a few more I can add to my collection. Plus I am looking forward to adding that Merlion Statue Chair to my collection as well.

Welp. Browsed the patch notes. It looks like there are some setting up for new stories and I'm pree sure(?) that the detectives thing is a story in itself. So yeah I guess Im relatively satisfied with the new update.

Now that the patch notes are out, what do you guys think?
I think it looks incredibly disappointing. I'm mostly excited for Cassandra and the Maple Admin being removed from towns, and that's something that should have happened a long time ago.

@helpingly: For sure. What I meant was that in comparison, events between now and the release of 5th job will seem comparatively more insignificant given that something completely game-changing is coming in the not-too-distant future.

@eternalmemory: Most people play a game because they find it enjoyable. If this game really stresses you out that much then you should stop playing it.

I enjoy new content every once and a while, even if the rewards are not the best. After all, you should be participating in new events because the events are fun, not just because the rewards are nice.

Maplestory: Scooby Doo edition.

so will there be actually buffs to Jett, kanna, Hayato etc... because lord knows they need it (especially Jetts) or is it more, "Hey we are highlighting the non-kms classes but god be dammed we won't actually be buffing them, enjoy !"

Nothing particularly interesting to be honest. If Zen comes as its own class (which seems unlikely) it would be alright, though I don't have any slots for it, waiting for that max slot expansion in Heroes of Maple. Filler update.
I do find it kind of funny that they just sort of threw all the non-KMS classes together for the detectives thing, as if they had anything in common outside of that.

I don't like to read dialog for hours. I just want Nexon to give me cool limited time tradable items for once.

@sevenofnine: Have to keep in mind that the 5th job update hasn't even reached KMS yet, so we won't get that for another couple of months (like at least half a year)

Until then, we just can't have no events, do you know what I mean?
