Thanks for clearing it up no wounder how they got my ign but I just turn off whispers its just annoying!

lol i just sometimes pm them back saying "sorry no one's home" just like telemarketers or go like "sorry not interested"
in the end i just blocked my whispers because no one really uses it imo (unless you do basil trades) but we have the chat function for that

Easy, they have a program that goes to the maple rankings and records the IGN of every character in that server, that ign list is then inserted into the bot and it goes down the list in order (thats why EVERYONE "eventually" gets it)

@xiaoke its bots, i dont think they bots have the ability to listen to what is whispered back to them

i don't believe its ranks, i've yet to be whispered on any character, i think it happens to people who hang around ch 1 too much.

naw it dosent use rankings, it uses a system to register people, that come in fm ch1 probli, i can prove this wth the fact that i get them on my main characters that are OFF ranking

there are a few sites doing it and they use different methods, i know one site does it by ranking list, the others probly the friend find option, but either way its no cause to panic or be frightened

They use the find friends function on their buddy list, it finds anyone online.

They simply have the ign's recorded on the bot, it goes down the list

Meso sites are getting desperate since they are a business and by business views there heading to bankruptcy, if you all want just do what i do
try to purposly be spammed by as many meso whisperers as u can (generally cc1 and fm will do the trick) simply save the name of each botter into your black list and presto, they think there advertiseing and you never hear a thing ^^

it is exactly the same thing as them standing in the fm and spamming it except it is sent dirrectly to you
they got the list of names from the GMS website ( dunno how they managed that....... oh wait it is cause GMS have crappy programmers)
but yeah
moral of the story is you guys have nothing at all to worry about so stop being "scared"

I really dont find it scary at all if anything its just another way to annoy you when your not in ch 1 lol other then that its easy to ignore.
