Can I Max Dash?

in "A Bucc's complete guide to Buccaneer-hood" it says to go back and put points into Double Upper or Oak Barrel is it ok if I max Dash instead?

After revamp, we practically max it out. So, I'd say max it out anyways? Lulz. </3

I didn't max it when i was lower lv, since i was told not too.

When i got a bit higher lv, and i got a SP reset, i decided to put points into.
Never regretted it. It helps quite a bit. haha

I maxed it and I like it.
It's good to use before climbing a rope since Rope Climbing speed is based on Movement Speed.

Dash's effect is still active for a little while after you stop it by either: Releasing the button, pressing the button in the opposite direction or use an attack; in which you can use to Jump Cast an attack (Dragon Strike) for a little extra leaping movement.

The delay of activating it will prevent spamming of the attack so it should be used as a last hit if used.

It helps if you're not training but for hunting and questing instead; Dash can definitely be a big help since we all know how slow Dragon Strike is to use while Transformed.

You can max Dash if you want. It's not really that huge of a difference, the benefit is pretty much the same as DU; you can get a benefit, but you'll rarely use it. After you max ST, you'll have Haste 90% of the time. This means that 90% of the time, Dash is useless. And this is assuming that the 10% of the time you're not in ST you'll be moving to another group of mobs(So you obtain the benefit; if you're standing there spamming DS on some Bearwolves, not much point to Dash there...). Which also means that to obtain the full benefit, you can't rebuff during your ST's down time(Like you should).

Really, there are some uses for Dash, but you need to remember to use it and there's just so little point in it even if there are some uses. Get it if you want, it's not going to mess up your build by skipping out on DU or Oak Barrel, but just remember that it's pretty much as useless as those two skills.

Sure, but it's fairly easy to improve your speed through your equips and skills (i.e. Transformation), so it's usually discouraged. It was also believed that it may interfere with training if you inadvertently use it while changing directions or attacking, but most don't really have that problem after a while. If you want to max it with your extra points, go ahead.
