Minecraft and Herobrine

So in 1.5 or early 1.6 there has reports of Herobrine... Do you guys believe in Herobrine? In the newest update there was at the end, Removed Herobrine.

Do you think Notch did that to psyche us out? I'm scared of someone stalking me and destroying my works :o
