Getting to character choice page

So i have recently finish downloading the chaos patch on after i tried to log on,
after typing in my ID and password i get to the world selection page. After i had tried to
go into scania but after double clicking the world it gets stuck there and the channel selection page
never opens.

Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me, and does anyone know how to fix this problem?
