Cruchers I see you in the FM almost every time im in there and I have purchased quite a few items from you at a good price, I don't see why people don't like merchants...not all are flexible in pricing but that is just how the people are.

Many merchants are out to make a profit, yeah? That usually includes undercutting someone for bartering for a lower price when buying off of someone, it's what it is.

Probably cause that person is also a merchant but exactly, if you really want a trade why not have a counter offer. It is not like the 1st offer is the only offer. What if the person seriously doesn't know the average cost of the item and is just putting some random figure as a guess?

Although it bothers you, you do it to essentially rip off people in order to reap profit. Amiright? Yes. Also, in doing so... [b]most[/b] basically just shove a price up on everyone's faces instead of even saying a simple 'hi', a rather low price at that. We merely try to insult you because we're not satisfied with your attitude and fight away any of you merchants who act like scum. theres some cheap stuff that the sell sometimes

I don't even merch and people get mad at me for trading them.
Edit: Lmao I just realized back in like 2008 and 2009 I would merch all the time on a higher class, below average mapler and I was like 11 or 12. I didn't even realize it until now.

@xkillo32: if the seller knew what it was really worth, they would negotiate and make more. Therefore, you are wrong.

The specs and smiley mask combo is hideous; only merchants seem to wear ugly equip combinations. So when you make a cheap offer even if you intend on using the equip, people won't take the low ball as often since they assume you're merching them up.

buying a 500m equip for 90m is not scamming because the seller is satisfied with it

It's because merches are basically scammers. Example: Buying a 500m item for 90m. Just stop. And before you call me a scammer, yes. I know.

People don't know I merch off of them solely because I don't look like a merch. There's been plenty of times i've gotten things for 5-10% of what they're actually worth and nobody thinks twice.
