Farming Silver Needles?
Was wondering if there is a way to farm the Hugh's Silver Needles past the some 17 or so you get from just going through FriendStory. In the shops there are things that cost much more than that so I'm assuming there is, but how?

It's not actually affected by drop rate except the final boss, which drops 1 at most with a really high drop rate.
Your best source of extra needles are going to be from the bonus' after each run. Luckiest I've gotten was 4 needles default + 1 from balrog + 2 from bonus items.
Ive done the dungeon 3 times now and I have gotten a grand total of about 5 needles from it, if that many. And I use big spider w/ showdown
@Axnslicer: Not as far as I know.
However, just to be safe use a big spider or some kind of drop multiplier. I once went in without green pendant and my spider and the balrog boss didn't drop a needle.
Even though the drop rate is high, it's better safe than sorry.

Honestly isn't too bad.
I think the dungeon is glitched at the moment because you're supposed to kill monsters to make the bosses spawn.
However, all the bosses are guaranteed to spawn at 1min 58 seconds. Basically you can afk for 2 minutes at each round, come back, kill the boss. Rinse and repeat. I usually watch some TV series while doing it, time goes by fast.

Wow, this event is the epitome of tedium. Whats the point? I saw another post explaining that if you can one shot the boss its around 10 minutes a run. That means to get the uniform for 500 needles you'll need to do about 100 runs. At 10 runs a day that means this is obviously going to take 10 days. At 10 minutes a run, that's a total of an hour and 40 minutes. For a total of [b]13h 40min[/b] for one set of overall or whatever else.

Not really, just kill every boss and hope you get more needles at the end as a bonus
