New burning character for fun suggestions With burning season 2 now in effect, me being lvl 193 and just wanting to experience something fun and fresh, i'm looking to make a new character. This isn't going to be a main, and i'll probably get it to around 150 if i enjoy it. I have all link skills lvl 2, so that eliminates a lot of choices. I made a mechanic and battle mage when they first came out, but that was a looong time and many revamps ago, so idk how similar they are. They were both pretty fun though. And wildhunter seems like a fun power house class, and i enjoy being stronk. Explorer classes i dont' already have: Warrior - Hero, Paladin, Drk Mage - F/p mage Thief - NL Bowmen - MM and BM Pirate - Buccaneer and corsair. I always fund
Weird maple glitch Randomly when i'm playing maplestory after the patch, the screen will go white. just completely randomly, i can still hear things and i think i can still move my char, but it goes white and sometimes stays white. Also when i minimized it and reopened it the screen just never reloaded and stayed black. anyone else having this problem?
How does adventurer job changing work? Hey, so i just made an adventurer mage and planned on them being a cleric > priest > bishop till around lvl 120 or something then job change to an i/l mage, since bishops train faster or something. I have the job advancement token from the 10 year event, but how exactly does this work lol? who do i talk to? how does mastery books work, etc.
Will we ever actually get ap resets? There's been much speculation over this, many people were hoping we'd get them after the BB like we did sp resets. I have a dexless 156 nl and a lukless 141 bishop, and i now regret making both of them primary stat only. I sure as hell am not going to spend a fortune resetting their stats, so the idea of an free ap resets is great to me. I now know that it's pointless to hope for them.
Which bosses drop soul enchanters? Hey i was wondering if people could help me get a soul weapon by telling me which bosses are most likely to drop them. I got my first one at zak the other day after a good number of runs, and it was a 60%. however, it failed lol. So if you know which bosses drop which kind of enchanter, please share :)
Remake character? Make a Beast tamer? or nah So one of the earlier characters i had made was an i/l mage, and is lvl 141. it's pre-whatever revamp that made secondary stats not a thing so has like 50 luk. I was just about to delete the character, make a new mage -> priest so i can level easy and experience the joy of being a care free hs slave till lvl 120 or something and then use the job advancement coin from the 10 year event to change into a i/L mage (i think that's how they work? never used one before). But now the update notes just dropped, and in a few hours i can just spend 7mil to get an ap reset scroll on my mage... but i love the early power leveling before lvl 150 and was looking forward to it lol. Question on getting familiars. On average how long does it take to get one? Like if i'm 115 how long would it take me to get a zeta grey card (lvl 67 or something) on average? or what's the drop rate like?
confusing potential stats atk% i just cubed my varkit and got it attack 3% and int+ 5. what does the first mean exactly? i get what damage means but i'm stuck on whether attack% means the % of your total weapon attack, or the % of your range...and i can't even guess how to calculate 3% of ones range.

PVP and battle mode attack Hey, i'm working on collecting the Larson set and i'm curious as to how much an impact it really as in pvp. How significant is one battle mode att point, how much does those power buffs give, and how significant is the complete set?
Question on blacksmithing Why is it we can only make such limited versions of armor? EX: why can we only make a, brown level 50 warrior top versus the ability to make any of the types. It's so frustrating when you wanna make your own armor, but OH, the only armor you can make is useless to you. I go to make a lvl 78 overall for my mage, preferably a blue or black one, and i can only make a green one which is +5luk. USELESS. Am i missing something or the the occupation really that lame?
Quests that give mastery books? Just trying to save up money, and would rather not buy books if i can avoid it. Which quest lines give a mastery book though? i only know golden temple and i think neo city did.
Honestly, how strong are i/l mages? The last time i mained an i/l mage was when we were still lil badasses in PVP mode lol. But where do we stand now in dps/dpm compared to say Evans, Mihile, heros, Dual Blades, wind archers? Are we still on the weaker half of maplestory classes or are we actually stronger than most? elemental decrease prob. helps a lot in bossing, but how is the CL spam compared to reflection in lumis?
