Unable to load worldscreen
Whenever I start up maple, I load everything up to a blank world selection screen, as in no worlds are available for me to select from, and then I dc a minute afterwards. Is there a known fix to this problem? This only happens at the house I'm currently staying at, despite my computer being inches away from the modem and maplestory loads up just fine when I'm at another house

This is happening to me as well. I downloaded it at my friend's house cuz he wanted to play again with me. HELP

@williamme I was able to play maplestory about one to two months ago, and what is the required internet speed to run the game? http://www.speedtest.net/result/3439536245.png these are my current speeds according to speedtest
Then it's your weak internet connection & speed. They recommend that you have a minimum internet speed to run the game.
This happens to me quite frequently, usually because i copy-pasted maple from a usb to the computer in question.
How I fix: Before running the game, go to properties of Maplestory, go to compatibility, and select compatible for Windows XP. After running maple, you'll get dc'd by hackshield saying you changed compatibility. After closing the popups, run maple again (hack shield will have reset your compatibility), and it should run fine. Might take two times through the process though.
Tell me if this fixes your problem. I want to know if this is a fix just for me or works for multiple people.
Try reinstalling it (remove ALL ITEMS RELATED TO MAPLE). This may or may not help. this personally has not happened to me so I'm not sure what solution i could give other than that.
