15% Crit Rate or 2 x 15% Pdr Nebs Post Unleashed
Hey guys,
I'm wondering which option is more beneficial on a phantom.
Going from 70% to 85% critical rate or going from 75% to 105% (adding them up instead of multiplying unless it is multiplicative already...)?
The PDR is broken as follows (in case of them being multiplicative):
30% leafre set
30% aria skill
15% lumi link
15% neb
15% neb
(note that in the future, phantoms will get another 20% pdr from hyper skill change)
So should i remove my 2 x 15% pdr neb for a 8% and 7% crit neb instead?

@GoXDS Oh, now I see what you did, my mistake.
@xlxlxlxl I did factor it o_o. 0.7*(1.35+1.7)/2 + 0.3 = 1.3625
though I guess I didn't properly factor crit when I was including Carte Noir if you meant that.
I forgot Mille Reinforce but that just makes Carte Noir smaller in worth, so conclusion should be the same. ignoring PDR Hyper for now.
@GoXDS You didn't use the critical damage increase in your calculation. In lieu of typing (1.35+1.7)/2 I'm going to assume the average crit damage is 152.5%
For mille, it would be .3(240) + .7(240(1.525)) + .7(.3(220)+.7(220(1.525)) = 538.795% per hit on average with a 70% crit rate
With 85% crit we have .15(240) + .85(240(1.525)) + .85(.15(220)+.85(220(1.525)) = 617.54875%per hit on average
Also, there's a mille reinforce hyper (20% damage which stacks additively with boss damage and total damage) and a mille PDR hyper (adds 20% PDR). The PDR hyper hasn't made it to GMS yet, though.
Anyways a boss neb or two will be better than either option.
50% PDR monster, right now you do 100% of that dmg. taking out the nebs brings you to 75% Ignore, so enemy has 12.5% PDR, so a -12.5% decrease
crit multiplier atm is, with 70% crit at 135%~170% (I'm assuming you have 70% Crit because you're factoring SE), is 1.3675x. going to 85% brings it to 1.44625x, a 6.1% increase on the new dmg, which is 0.875*1.061 = 0.92878x dmg from your original.
now to factor Carte Noir. assuming I understand Carte correctly, if you're attacking with mille, it's 120%x2 + 0.7*200% = 380%. up at 85% crit, it's 120%x2 + 0.85*200% = 410%, 1.0789x boost.
overall, that'll be 1.0789*0.92878 = 1.0021x boost
70% PDR: 0.825*1.061*1.0021 = 94.4%
multiplicative, effective %Ignore: 70% -> 58.35%
50% PDR: 0.9315*1.061*1.0789 = 1.066x
70% PDR: 0.7916*1.061*1.0789 = 0.9061x
tldr: on a 50% PDR monster, you're getting less than 1% boost in dmg if you switch assuming it's additive Ignore PDR but you do gain. higher than 50% PDR you're losing dmg.
multiplicative is a gain of 6.6% at 50% PDR.
Would you be at 85% crit with or without sharp eyes?
Assuming 0 defense, if you're going from 70 to 85 that's about a 13.5% increase to your total DPS with mille.
Assuming we have the new PDR system, the nebs won't help too much: both nebs will increase your total PDR from 58.35% to 69.91%
The PDR is capped at 100% if we stay on the additive system (PDR being able to stack). However, the new PDR system employed by KMS is multiplicative. Not sure if GMS will implement the multiplicative system eventually...
Back on topic, so the 15% extra crit that can trigger carte noire is not worth the 30% PDR?
Isn't PDR capped at 100%? If so go with crit
we're still not entirely sure how the PDR system works
be patient till they fix it.
pretty sure the stat-window is totally wrong.
I don't think that works, have you tried having a phantom link another phantom?
That's cannibalistic
Lol
Id go CRIT and then make another Phantom to link skill your current Phantom giving you 95%
