Try using [url=http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri]this[/url] site. It should tell you if your computer's good enough.
But try using a game other than maplestory. Like Boarderlands 2 or something. As long as it shows as "Minimum", then you should be good.

Windows 7. Game set and match.
I had a problem on maple wen I first got Windows 8, but then I installed or updated my laptop, (it shows on bottom right hand of screen), and now maple wrks rlly well. It takes me 1 - 10 secs literally to load maple, and I don't lag at all in ch1 fm.
