Pro workout people! I need your help!
Omgosh, i was just looking at the mirror and flexing.
Then i flexed my lats...I always wanted batman-like lats. And here is what i see:
I have decent upper lats, but its all clogged up there. And i have no lower lats AT ALL.
But when i flex, i can feel my lower lats, it stretches pretty low, but i cant see it,only feel it.
How to do i train my lower lats and bring it out?
@youknowSON: You'd be surprised how much push ups can actually increase your strength, and i also said in my first post that it would have limited results but i doubt you bothered to read that.
Strength is built by explosive low rep high weight exercises, not from doing 100 pushups. How many powerlifters do you see doing pushups? None!
One arm db rows
Close grip bentover rows
Close grip hammer/normal chins
@hosrack: If you knew perfect form you wouldn't have to ask us for advice.
yea i know the form, but it doesnt seem to bring out the lower lats. is it really cus of weights?
is there other "targeting" methods?
If you wanna get bigger, you want to fit your exercises into a certain rep range (less than 12-15 for mass is the generally accepted number).
By not doing so, you might as well not be doing anything, because your gains will most likely not go into size.
I said an empty barbell. Did I say weightless? The olympic barbell weighs 45 lbs, btw. Unless you have some cheap variation, which is even worse.
ah.....T_T well, in that case...idk. its the cheap variation i guess >.>
i workout alot with that barbell, its like my partner <3
I can curl 18 rep with it, wrist-curl 50 rep,
then move up in weight, anything over 15 reps is pointless. Also try bringing it to your stomach instead of your chest
I cant bring it up lol. Its a dead 40 pound barbell.
@above its 40pounds not weightless.
And, i do it in perfect form.
Btw, i have a chest expand of 40 in and 28.5 in waist. I am 5'10" and weight 150pounds. 15 years old.
My access to gym is limited, but i can go probably once a week
all i have at home is a 40pd barbell. Only 40 pd, its fixed, cant change it.
I am really bored at home, so i use that barbell alot.
@UnlimitedBud I do bent over rows all the time. with the 40pd barbell, i can do 40 reps.
C'mon Dimo...
Sit ups is what I do.
Then you probably don't have lower lats.
