Old Noob making his return
Whats up basil market,
So its been a real long time since I've done anything maple, and just got bored and decided to start again. While I only have a mac now (hence why I stopped originally) I am working on getting windows and maple. Until then I was hoping that y'all could fill me in on what has been going on since I last played, which if I remember correctly was pre-phantom (all though people were all hyped up about them coming out). I tried to figure this out for myself but it appears some crazay stuff has happened in the days of my absent. Also I will be playing my bello guys so if people want to hang when i start playing that would be awesome too. HOPEFULLY trolls wont confuse me to much, and the rest of you will help me become more enlightened.
Thanks in advance for the help and if I ever actually go through with getting maple, I hope to see how much of what you guys say is real.

u ahve a demon slayer how long could it have been? but look around basil for threads relating to unlimited that should help

There is also an upcoming patch called Unlimited, where ALOT changes. Bosses will be more difficult, Xenon will come out aka a thief/warrior/pirate I think, it uses 3 stats instead of one, %allstat will be preffered for it. Demon Avenger which is kind of like demon slayer, it uses HP as a stat. Meso cap is going to be 10b dont know how, dmg cap is going to be 50m i think. The UI may change to the CMST version, people keep complaining about it its just fine to me.
Thanks for the help and for the expected trolling (helped my thread not die). It sounds like maple got really confusing but hopefully this and my old knowledge will be enough to comeback.

Basically what happened since phantom is...
-Tempest update which made job advancement levels go down to 10,30,60,100(really just changed 3rd and 4th).
-Resistance mini-revamp buffed battlemages a bit in terms of bossing
-The release of 3 new jobs in the winter update Luminous(Mage last of the five heroes),Kaiser(Nova class-Warrior),and Angelic Buster(Nova class-Pirate).
-Kanna and Hayato were release in march i believe Kanna and Hayato were originally jms exclusives not anymore I guess haha. Kanna=Mage(who wields a 2h fan...) and Hayato=Warrior(Samurai-like)
-Root abyss was introduced shortly before Kanna and Hayato I think it an area that has 4 bosses behind four portals and requires you to have at least 2 people to go and fight them.
-Evolution or evolving.. System was introduced basically a custumize your own mini-dungeon and is great for solo training when you cannot find a pt at lhc and Sh/HoH.
-They also have added Monster Life which is like facebook's farmville.....
-Finally for which I think is the one of the most recent before monster life is monster park extreme which you can enter and is a great training area when partying with others~
