Skyrim Question - How many games/characters can you have?
Id assume its one, but i dont wanna delete my current level 52 so im asking. I wanna have multiple builds, more specifically an assassin, since i enjoy sneaking and stealth. Is it possible to have multiple characters? This is for xbox.

@Hunter103: Just wright it down in real life on a note or somthing and put it in the Skyrim box or whatever. "Last save with the level 50 is slot X"
I'd probably make it a habit to start saving more often haha. I do the same thing and it can cause some major set backs >.> I'm also a huge proponent of only saving when I'm redoing things and I KNOW that a hard fight is coming up, but then never save when doing a new dungeon... lol.
Guess ill have to make it a habit Thanks for all the help
Ok, listen up. All of your saves for every character show up in the same spot. They aren't divided up by character like DA or ME. Also, autosaves are universal. He says don't mix them up because once you play long enough on one character the three autosaves will be replaced with autosaves on the character you've most recently been playing on. does that make sense?
Enough sense. Well, i barely save (which is kinda a problem for me) since i trust my level 5x enough to run into a whole dungeon and not die, but when i do (like when overpowered by mages and arrows and warriors combined) thats when the autosave and saves only come in handy.
@Panicka: So its best to turn off autosaves?
I play Skyrim on the PS3 and I have like 7 characters so I'm positive you can make more than one on the xbox
So, i looked some stuff up. If i save/autosave on one character, will it show up on the other? Since people say autosaves screw with you, which wouldnt make much sense otherwise.
Only one.
Somehow through my own intuition, I picked a Nord+1h+Block+Light Armour+Archery.
According to the book, that's exactly the Warrior build.
I think having 2 different characters is enough, especially for such a big game.
Just save your level 50 in a slot, just wright it down. that on slot X is the level 50.
Create a new character, just dont save over slot X.
What do you mean write it down? Do i have to type in what slot? o.o
Also, so i dont have to make another thread, for more fun, assassin or spellblade/nightblade?
Just save your level 50 in a slot, just wright it down. that on slot X is the level 50.
Create a new character, just dont save over slot X.
you can have infinite (but they will use up space so it will take away some space) i hate how it lags so much on PS3 if your save is more than 10MB WHY YOU HATE PS3 BETHESDA?
I saw that over at my cousins house. It took him about 4 dialogues at the load screen to load another area, while it takes 2 on my xbox (and im 30 levels higher).
@Hunter103: Of course you can have two separate characters. I had around 15 at one point. Just save them in different slots, or slots that you don't need.
Even on xbox?
Duh.
Just makesure you don't overwrite the auto-save if its important.
Im confused. What do you mean? I mean having two separate characters, not just have a build, go have fun then revert the save, if thats what you meant.
