My first EVER 4th job adventurer that wasn't stupid and not... let's say good. Anyway, 4 days, love this class, great skills, balanced, and a whole lot a fun for me. Too bad I need 20 more dex to wear my reverse

That's precisely why I said that [most] Adventurers don't catch up until later on. Do you have many 1v1 battles in the lower levels? Wouldn't say so. The only things I can think of are PQ Bosses, which are done frequently enough, but it's not like the whole party depends on the Cannoneer's damage [although, these days, a party will consist mostly of Cannoneers]. 1.3x EXP rewards combined with grinding makes for a much more smooth training session than PQ's, in my experience. No wait time, it's easy to hold a channel, and you don't need to worry about lame party members. Of course, you'll have KSers, but as you said, you have amazing mobbing potential, which is great to keep away KSers.
Cannoneers are fun.

From what l've seen they're very good at mobbing and training but not very good at 1v1 and bossing (other than their good party buff)

Heres a guide for most levels too. 30 - 50 CPQ. 51 - 80 Jesters. 80 - 110 MP3. 110+ LHC
