In college dorm life, would it be okay to play online games

I'm going to college next year, and I plan to live in the dorms If I do go. I plan on joining clubs and working hard with my studies, but I also want to play online games, mostly Vindictus whenever I have free time. For those who lived in college dorms, do you think there is time to relax and just play games? Is it strange to play games in your first year or does it really depend on who your roommate is?

@Spearmint: Off topic or not, good advice anyway, thanks. . I plan on partying too, but I might pass on drinking. I don't think it's worth it. Maybe just small moderation.

@Deciduous: Definitely, studies and social life will be my priorities
@FlyingAlmond: Unfortunately, we won't be able to choose our roommates, at least not until second year.
@WinterWish: That sounds fun. Were you and your roommate able to keep up with school work? How long did you spend playing games VS school or other activities?

@Horizon: That's cool. I just don't want to make an impression I'm only a gamer, I might stay up late playing games (although probably not a good idea), hopefully I don't disturb my roommate, lol.

@darkdog241: haha yeah. I do plan on meeting new people and joining different clubs, I want a good college experience. I'm just not so sure if I would have time to play games, I would probably want to play every now and then.
yeah. aside from school work and such, we kept each other in check in terms of priority of school work over games.

well it's all up to you
and it's not like it would be bad to sacrifice some time for games once in a while, just remember social stuff is more important

What I'm really worried about is time management, I heard college can get stressful, so I may or may not have to abandon games :<
cyber, I might plan on doing that too, if I don't get accepted to my colleges. Good luck and keep up with the grades man.

it not like high school where people make fun of you playing those games
it wouldn't matter, + ima go to community college to save up money
than transfer out 2 years after community to a better college to finish up

Nah, usually people who go to college are mature and learn to respect each other.
