5 dollar jewelry gift for a girl for secret santa
So I'm taking part in a secret santa in one of my classes, and the teacher said to keep the price range around 5 dollars. Just in case you don't know, secret santa is where you exchange gifts with someone else, but you don't know who is giving you a gift. I got a girl for secret santa and her note says she wants jewelry. So i looked up 5 dollar jewelry online, but I'm not really sure if it'll be a good gift, or if a girl would like it, I have no idea what a girl would like. Would it be awkward to buy a necklace for someone for secret santa? If it helps, she's' a junior in high school.

5 dollar necklaces I found. Tell me if it's a good or bad idea to get one for secret santa. I would get it, I'm just not sure if they would like it. If not, I may just get her a set of awesome pencils

The jewelry at stores like forever 21 & h&m are cheap and cute. You could also pitch
in a dollar or so for a small jewelery gift box and TA-DA perfection
I think its a pretty sweet thought.
I'm a pretty good craftsman so I usually make something to get around that 5 dollar limit thing.
Making jewlery wouldn't be too hard to craft, some light metals, maybe a faux jewel or two and a blow torch is really all you need.
Plus the whole "Did it yourself" thing adds major points

Haha It would certainly be convenient if my secret santa was a girl I liked, but nah, she's just a classmate. Perhaps I'll get the 10 dollar necklace, only a few bucks more and It looks nicer.

Haha yeah the website does look cheap. I'll have to give it to her in front of a class, is it weird to give a necklace to a classmate? It would be weird if she didn't wear it or if she did wear it after I give it to her. Or am I just overthinking it and it's perfectly fine?
