What's your motivation in choosing the page path?
For those of you who did, just wondering what motivated you to choose the Page route for your warriors? We don't have much contribution to parties (except combat orders), and training can be slow when fighting neutral enemies, and we have to stick with spamming Charged Blow for the whole 3rd job, so what made you choose it?
Personally, I chose being a page because I never made one before and always thought that the elemental charges and absolute defense was interesting. I probably won't have enough dedication to become a paladin though >.>

I did it because I wanted to freeze stuff. It was the sole thing that motivated me to keep on going. Then I got to 3rd job and realized how weak the charges were and became very sad, but I kept pushing on (no idea why). The balance patch rolled around and that gave me the motivation to level-up enough to tag along with my friends at newts, which carried over to skeles where I met a whole slew of people who helped me advance, slowly, towards 4th job. At this point the first news of the Big Bang had appeared, and I became motivated to be a pre-BB pally, and I did. Then I leveled up 3 more times for max ACB. BB hit a few months later, and it was awesome, so I'm glad I stuck with this.
Hey Guys! I'm actually thinking of making a Pally myself! But I wonder, if probably 2m will help me through the first, what... 50 levels? I spent all my money on my WH but now, It's not that fun. I might end up erasing him, to create my pally, so I was wondering... is it worth it? Are Pally's worth it?
im a lone wolf being a pally is being me other classes cant fit me

In the mean time I found out so, yes... Besides, as I already said, I never hinted the Page is The Lone Wolf, or that other classes aren't. I feel more comfortable with my Page than with let's say my XBowman.

Whoops. Not a native speaker of English.
On another note I never said the class is per definition "a" or "the" Lone Wolf class; I said it's possible to use it as one. The presence of a party buff doesn't have to undo that. :X My Shadower also has party buffs.

Well I am pretty sure it is "Lone Wolf". Lonely Wolf just makes no sense.
Also since WKs and Pallys now have Combat Orders, so they are not really a Lone Wolf class anymore.

A lonely wolf is a metaphor for someone who doesn't rely on others, in MapleStory's case a person that plays on his or her own without partying much. The Bandit and the Page are good for that.
I like being near-invincible.
A lonely wolf class, kind of like the Bandit, and the 1-Handed BW scrolls are cheap. So far I like it.
In the end I went page because my closest friend on maple (who I've known for like 4-odd years) got hacked February last year and then quit maple and I wanted to continue his legacy as a white knight! (god that sounds so childish). I really looked up to him though. We stayed in touch with msn and facebook and have played loads of other mmos together since. Sooo happy he rejoined maple recently and remade his wk

Because my first char ever was one, and i decided to remake it, kinda put it on hold to try out resistance though
I made this before 4th jobs were even out, so my sole motivation was elements >_> <3 Crusader and DK seemed ok, but I really wanted to use swords, and elements > orbs to me. I eventually quit her for personal reasons but finally made it to paladin and I completely love this character. It makes me sad I ever let myself stop playing her.
I made this WK because I couldn't even afford 1 60% sword or spear scroll back then. Then, it was between axe sader or BW page, and I thought elements were cooler .

I've always wanted a Flaming Katana. Never going to happen though.
Actually...I always used to want a glowing whip as well, and now I have one. Hmm...
Because when third job came around I thought it would be nice to run around with a flaming sword and Powerguard. The sword might not be flaming but oh well.
I felt like picking the rare class.
It was because it was an uncommon class that is unique and had no competition and requires not much funds (I use BWs)
But in Bellocan there has been an unusual increase of Wks/Pallys.> .> But no point in backing down now.
I originally made a Paladin to solo hard hitting bosses easier.
