Hows it been?
Hello folks,
Due to having absolutely nothing left to do today (sadly) I decided i'd check in and see how ol' maplestory's been doing. My question (or rather a couple questions) of the day is simply...what's new? The last time i played was around the release of Xenon and i'm looking for some insight on new classes, ways to train, etc. Without further ado, i would be most grateful if i could have these questions answer'd...
-What new classes are there and how "good" are they? The new Blaze Wizard and Night Walker look kind of cool but i want the communities opinion
-What's the best way/best areas to level up now? I'm sure something changed or maybe the exp curve has been increased? i don't know
-How's the economy? Is everything still ungodly overpriced? What's the new "top tier" gear?
-How has/Did Phantom change? He's my main class so i'm curious
-Finally, How are you today? Yes you, the Basiler, How is your day going so far?

Actually it's the bonus effect on every character. 15% crit and 5% min crit dmg i believe
@VoidWreck: The game is comparing the damage boost of the ring in question vs the ring you have in your first ring slot (the lowest one).
@reverexx2: Ah, I see now. But here's what I don't understand now... I currently have 2 free ring slots on my Wind Archer (the other 2 are occupied by Evo rings). However, when I hover my mouse over the Pivotal Adventure Ring, it says "Att Increase -679". Why is this so? Shouldn't it be positive since I have ring slots available? o.o
What I'm trying to say is, shouldn't the ring be increasing my damage rather than decreasing it?
@voidwreck @hydraxide look at the Pivotal Adventurer Ring stats from the Event List in-game.
@Aiacu never buy a combination lock from a dollar store unless it's from Master and has a serial number.

15% crit ring? Are you talking about the Pivotal Adventure Ring received at level 130 for NW? On the update notes, it says the Ring's stats are +3 all stats, MaxHP and MP +300, WA and MA +3. It doesn't say anything about crit o.o Please enlighten me

It breaking that easily kinda ruins the point of having it, no?
If you're thinking about staying on Maple for a while you should make a NW now. You get free 1.5 exp coupons and if you reach level 130 before Thanksgiving you get a free 15% crit ring that you can move to another character.

I personally like the classes hayato, kanna, and zenon.
As far as leveling goes, level 20-30 golems, zombies or quests, 30-40 i can't remember it was so quik. 40-50 scarecrows or mr smith, 50-60 scarecrows or drakes, 60-70 drakes, taromacis/tarospears, 70-80+ Verne mine, 90-10x monster park/pq.
That's my experience and I can to 70-90 in just under with the 1.3/1.5 coupons you get from part time job.
Which server are you in? Oh and my day is awesome. It's snowing in Oregon, have w shop open on my laptop for selling 50-120 weps for a mill, just finished game of thrones s4 and about to play on my kanna (they increase spawn it's epic).
