How to Solo Horntail
Hi, so i really want an htp and i was told i could solo horntail easily. the thing is i've never done so so i was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how i could kill him fast. like what order should i kill his parts in and things to avoid and tips too. I'm a lv175 phantom with a 32k range with no 4th job buff. Any and all help is appreciated

Stand in the middle of HT and use Tempest?
Could a phantom with a 35k unbuffed range with 20% bossing, 12% total damage, and 30% pdr kill horn tail?
idk how far you're gonna get with your range, but either way... i suggest using paladin's power guard as your 2nd job skill, and try to finish the tail quickly so it won't kill you when you get seduced. other than that, its all about your power.
Guys seriously, he's a phantom. He could solo it with a 5k range.
Lol. Im guessing people are mixing up the avg dmg to solo zak with ht... its true that 50-60k range (buffed) could let one, solo ht, but it would take a pretty long time to complete it...
I'm sure you'll need like 50-60k range (buffed of course) to be able to solo.
i thought you only needed like 25-30k range? that's whats i've seen around here at least
You're not going to solo it with a 32k range.
