Can my nail break from inside my finger?
So in Phys. Ed. today, I was sitting on a basketball listening to my teacher give instructions
My friend didnt see my fingers holding onto the basketball
He kicked my fingers by accident and then my last 3 fingers hurt a lot
It's been a few hours since it happened and now only my fourth finger still hurts
I asked my mom if she thought it was possible for my nail to break inside my finger and she said its possible
I'm going to wait for tomorrow tos ee if it still hurts, if it does I'm going to see a doctor because "I broke my nail"
Do you guys think it's possible to break my nail from inside my finger or am I overreacting?

Its currently kind of a light magenta o.o
The white part is still normal
If its like black and blue and you can't put any pressure on the other fingers, then its broken. If not you are overreacting.
if half ur fingernail turns white, that means its lifted from the nailbed. but unless ur bleeding like crap, i think the docter's gonna laugh at u.
