Glasses during Sports Hey guys, so I play basketball and plan to join the school team this year. I heard that the coach doesn't allow any type of accessory to be worn. (Glasses, contacts, jewellery, etc.) The problem is, my eyes are really really bad. They're -5.75 and -6.5 distance. If I take off my glasses while playing, I have a really hard time even seeing the ball... My friend mentioned something about special goggles and safety glasses for sports? Does anyone have any information on any of this?
Can my nail break from inside my finger? So in Phys. Ed. today, I was sitting on a basketball listening to my teacher give instructions My friend didnt see my fingers holding onto the basketball He kicked my fingers by accident and then my last 3 fingers hurt a lot It's been a few hours since it happened and now only my fourth finger still hurts I asked my mom if she thought it was possible for my nail to break inside my finger and she said its possible I'm going to wait for tomorrow tos ee if it still hurts, if it does I'm going to see a doctor because "I broke my nail" Do you guys think it's possible to break my nail from inside my finger or am I overreacting?
