Hayato vs Hard Gollux

Alright, so I'm in need of a pros advice. What is the best strategy to use when facing hard gollux as a hayato. What I am currently doing is shinsoku and surging blade to change sides when he attacks at the jaw part and then the eyes which I have yet to ever get passed I use shinsoku and dankusen however I always die one way or another. Please help me out here, what am I doing wrong?

Minimum range would probably be ~400k I'd estimate. The eyes are going to be a huge problem.
Ya, that's pretty accurate. I'm at 600k range clean and I still have trouble at the eyes, mob control is not Hayato's specialty
Things wrong with your statement: 1. Make a Demon Avenger instead of Demon Slayer since Demon Slayers are better when funded.
All classes start with 4 luk and it's extremely easy nowadays to get more luk on equips.

When he gets to the eyes, watching the eyes won't be something he should be doing. He should also be killing the mobs on the bottom every now and then.
And that's why DA have been shown to have better bossing potential than DS? Go check any and all charts. New and old. DA always > DS. For training, DS is obviously faster.

I thought Hayato could stun/bind him indefinitely? I went into Hellux once with a friend he just asked me to take care of the mobs but idk this class sry

Shinsoku the eyes and watch for when his eyes do the explosion attack. Once that happens you can use hitokiri strike for i-frames through it. Don't forget to Falcon dive debuff it gives a +10% damage debuff on enemies. Summer rain can hit the rocks on the bottom and has about the same horizontal width as gollux's jaw. Also at the jaw it's a lot safer and easier to just spam hitokiri strike. The hardest at the eyes are the rocks at the bottom so you have to periodically Falcon dive + dankuusen down there to wipe them out.
You can use vapor jump to dodge hand, or dankuusen/hitokiri /sweeping sword.

My conclusion is that your strategy requires luck and you have none due to being a warrior and all...

Watch his eyes, they are the direction he will be attacking.
