Which pendant should I get?

I always thought MoN was the best, but then people said MoN is only good for every class except mages.. Why?
I'd like to know why and also, which pendant should I get for my bishop?

An MoN is no less worse then a 21% stat pendant for a mage than any other class. People are getting confused with the damage formula is all.
If you're not funded, an MoN is a wonderful pendant. If you have the couple of bil to spend, a %int CHTP is best.

Well they can't be potential'd, so they aren't really that good for anyone that aspires to get funded damage, but they are a good alternative. The reason they aren't as useful for mages as other jobs is that mages have a lower weapon multiplier. Weapon multipliers basically multiply the damage range of a class by different numbers, for example MoNs help cannoneers the most since they have a weapon multiplier of 1.85, while mages have a weapon multiplier of 1.0, so

CS:
10x1.85=18.5 attack

Mage:
10x1.0=10 attack
