From the recent patch notes
"Welcome to the all new Beauty Salon where you can save any hair and face styles you have acquired, and change to them anytime you want! No more regret for the missed styles!
The new Beauty Salon system can be accessed by clicking the "Salon" button located at the bottom of Equipment Inventory window.
The pop-up Beauty Salon window comprises a character preview area on the left, and 2 style tabs on the right - one for hair style and one for face style.
Three slots are available on each tab by default, and additional slots can be unlocked by purchasing Beauty Salon Slot Expansion Coupons from the Cash Shop.How to save a style: Simply select an empty slot, and click the "Save" button at the bottom.
How to change a style: Click on the saved slot and then select the "Change" button at the bottom. Your look will then change back to that style. You can also preview the style in the preview area. Each style change costs 100,000 mesos.
How to delete a style: if you no longer want to keep a style, just select it, and click on the "Delete" button at the bottom."
My thoughts: This is really good for those that want to keep the hairstyle they like but not the one they want from the royal hair style, play around with it, save it and then try to find the hairstyle they want to aim for. You can see it however you like (as a cash grab or a money-saving idea)....just wish it was implemented sooner but I guess I can wait for the hairstyles I passed up months ago.

Thing is, this face/hair is something I had for almost 4 years so I wasn't really implying that. I was trying to say that all the hairstyles/faces I've missed and wanted to play around with were skipped or ignored because I like the hairstyle/face to a point where I don't want to change it and be disappointed with it (then waste money getting that back). Now, it's not much of an issue.

This is a great idea. Finally people don't have to constantly spend huge amounts of money to change looks anymore

I get bothered though when they actually release a pretty decent hair (the "New!" ones are usually gimmicky though) like I think it was called Wild Hunter hair for males, and then they don't release it again for another 6 months because they always try to keep an order of 4 ugly hairs, 1 good hair, and 1 "New!" hair (which is usually bad, but not in the Wild Hunter case).
Why wasn't this added sooner... I just changed my mule's hair and it was amazing but now I regret it and cannot change back. NUUUU

This was the only part that took interest to me. Tho I wish I could get all the hairstyles I actually obtained in the past. Nevertheless, I think it's a great feature to have.
Now, if only they had an option to be able to go back to default w/o saving. >3<
