How much data does maplestory use?
Comcast decided that our house shouldn't get wifi for the weekend, so we're using 3g hotspots. We have 6 gigs to use in a week and I was just curious as to how much data maplestory uses. They think that if I play for too long then we'll run out of data and I don't know how much it uses.

Do you have Windows 8? If you do, then you can turn your connection into a metered connection. It helps reduce the amount of data being used.
It depends. However, Maplestory doesn't take much at all. You'd probably have to run MS nonstop for a week to use up 6 gb. I think it's around 10-15MB/h.
What will eat away your data is web surfing. Youtube, downloading files, and images. Mostly videos.Unless you're downloading large files haha.
i once played with my phone's 3g i had the game on for like 8hrs it took 30mb
I'd say even less than that, all the client does is send/receive "packs" (word is censored), you should be safe.
Games dont really take up that much data, probably like 100mb ~200mb in a day?
