CraftingFusing and the Potential Outcomes

Hey everyone, I started this thread because I've noticed something different (for me anyways) ever since the Ice Knight patch took place earlier today.

Everyday I have been crafting and fusing equips and I usually get a good turnout. At the very LEAST 60-70% or so of a batch of equips will come out with hidden potential.

But today, I've managed to craft 14 earrings and fused them almost just as many times. My outcome: Only had the chance to reveal the potential of 3 earrings.
I didn't actually count how many new earrings were made from crafting/fusing but I'm guessing about 3 of ~24 new earrings came out with potential. That's 12.5% ladies and gentlemen.

So I wanted opinions from other people, to see if they too felt like the system has changed or not. Was it just dumb luck in the beginning prior to the patch that I was able to get such good potential turnouts. Was I just really unlucky today? Or did something actually change after today's patch?

I craft 40 earrings a day, when they first came out. I was knocking about 24+ Hidden Potentials, but now they're like 6/40. They definately dropped it down.

I haven't noticed too much. I only noticed with my earrings and capes. I fused a hat the other day and got decent potential from it. I believe the people who are saying it's based on a little bit of luck, but yes i think the rate dropped because people are fusing like madmen.

I've got to say I'm loving the respone I'm getting on this thread. It kinda died yesterday, but has now been brought back and is also being backed up by many who also claim to feel that the rate of potential items has decreased. Today I've crafted and fused some more earrings, and the case is the same as yesterday. I think I only revealed about 3 or 4 hidden potential equips today. Last night I also managed to talk to a few people in Ardentmill? (I keep calling it A-town so I forgot it's real name) and they too had bad runs while crafting and fusing equips.

As for the "premium" within the crafting system, that's just the % chance that you'll craft an item with above average stats (average being whatever is being displayed when you hover over the item).

I was thnking about that event as well, but judging from the stated dates, it shouldn't expire yet. Whether or not that 10x chance meant getting potential on an equip or the success chance of crafting high level equips with a low crafting level is beyond me.

Premium rate stands for the quality of the equipment itself.
Premium is just another word for above average.
Say, a dark neschere with has an average attack of 99.
A premium Neschere would have an attack of 99+

@ImSellingYou: Oh, yea, its probably not 10%. But for any random occurrence, there still has to be a "rate" of occurence, you know what I mean? One thats not necessarily defined, but rather observed.

Besides, all computer generated percentages aren't exact because they need a seed.

Incorrect. I felt the ratio changed too before about 50%-60% of my items had pot now I get pot at like a 10%-20% chance. I investigated and it turns out there was an event that was supposed to last until 8/9 but for some reason Nexon ended it early. The event was 10x the rate for premium weapons (pot on items). Go look on the MS forums.

Craft 6 more and they'll all be non-potted.

One day I got 18/20 potential, the next I got 6/20.

Mmmk, good to know. I was beginning to give up on crafting all together if that was the case. I've only been doing it for the chance that potential equips can be acquired.
I just thought it was odd that for almost 2 weeks it's been well, and then today it was just </3
