you guys realize that an average angelic buster can't do that? these people have like 500% all stat and like 200% bossing damage or more

Max range doesn't mean anything. It may show 999k range on your stats page, but it still goes beyond that.
She can still outdamage every class.

Are AB's even stronger than merc's/mechs/phantoms at max range anymore?

GMS stated that they are trying to catch up to KMS so we get future patches a month or two after they are released in KMS. So it will be less time. We are getting AB by January. Hyper skills assumed to come in February. So if GMS keeps to their word, AB will be nerfed in the Spring.

I think they should've kept the fun factor i.e the amount of soul seeker thingos but instead lowered the % dmg and dmg cap on it.
Soul Seeker looks sad now.
