Serious questions

I have some questions, if you guys can answer this seriously. Also, I know these aren't the greatest questions but it works enough for me.

1.What is your take on the Public Education in America today?
2. What makes school it is today?
3. Idea on how to fix the education system today in America?

Thanks

1) "everyone gets a trophy" "everyone gets an A"
this ish doesn't work anymore, we're lagging behind every single major country in STEM/reading/writing (yes, they are better at English than we are). evidence

2) ?

3) cut the bs, make it more rigid and more based on merit instead of sports/all these extracurriculars. I have friends from Bangladesh/UAE and in their British school systems, they covered gen chem+orgo chem, Calc 1-3, bio->biochem, physics I/II/fluid mechanics all during their junior/senior years of high school, putting them a full 2 years ahead of my lame AP classes.

1. public education is obviously not the best as there are many flaws, but it is certainly better than public education in other countries such as south korea.
2. if you're talking u.s pe, then i'd primarily attribute it to the influences of other education systems around the world...although i could be wrong since idk too much on this subject.
3. maybe integrate in the ideas of other countries...or look at the top list of public education in terms of happiness and academics...although happiness should be emphasized more imo
1.) Stupid Americans. Fat and stupid.
2.) Bad parenting. There is no value on education. No degree = no good job = McDonalds = unprotected sex = accident = kid gets an F and the single mom has no time to care, busy working = kid fails school = cycle repeats.
3.) Better parenting. Make education a top priority when raising a kid.
I can see why you take into account parenting into one's education, but the system itself is stupid. Whether a child grows through life with good parenting or not, it's up to the system and the child him/her-self to get good grades/jobs.

1) Public education is a joke in America today
2) School is the way it is today due to how the government is run, as a result of the education system/American society
3) Change how jobs and such are applied/paid/generally everything about how lives are run.. so many things.
