Most difficult sport
Hello Basilers.
What is the most difficult sport in your opinion? Reason behind the sport you chose, if you'd like.
I mean hardest as in mentally, physically, and emotionally.
Personally, I'd say wrestling, gymnastics, swimming, martial arts and rugby.

Wrestling is probably the hardest
Followed by:
American Football
Water Polo
Hockey
I don't believe that Tennis, Golf, and Badminton could be considered true sports.
E-sports crap is stupid
I play football (cornerback) and I think hockey is the hardest sport overall factoring in skill. I can't even skate, and I can't even imagine how hard it would be to be skating around with other people smashing into you all the time. Then you have to factor in you have to hit an extremely small object with a stick into a goal that is about half covered by some dude. Physically and mentally though, I would have to go with football. A close second though would be wrestling.
Wouldn't that make Lacrosse equally as difficult. Well they don't smash you all the time.
Imo, I don't think Hockey is as hard as wrestling or Martial Arts. That's just me.
tennis because righto-kun beat me

American Football, hands down.
Can't play if you don't expect to be hit.
But then why is golf and chess considered a sport. On the note of e-sports though, games like Super Smash Bros Melee and Starcraft take way more skill than League.
@IKickCats:
You have to set them up. If they do something else, you have to set up again.
Fighting is like chess.
@Valentino I see your point, but LoL is not physical but it is skill and emotional itself. Meanwhile the meaning of sport is " an active diversion requiring physical exertion and competition"
I don't know, I agree it is hard to play. I just don't accept it as a sport. I hear its going to be in the Olympics....
LoL won't ever be considered a sport to me... Its more of a competitive game, why make it an official sport.
Actually, league was identified as a sport in America under law a few months ago.
OT: I think baseball's hardest overall since being good doesn't always guarantee any form of success. Emotionally though I guess league could count since even people who don't take it seriously get frustrated emotionally very fast.

American football is stupid imo. I mean I respect the players in it for being able to take tackles and mess up their head...
@IKickCats Same with MMA, wrestling, water polo, and rugby. Along with many other sports....
Well.. depends on position to . With mma it's physically demanding but I don't see how you have think quick except maybe blocking techniques etc.
Can't tell if you mean soccer (futbol) or American Football.
OT: I think the most challenging sport is golf.
More OT: I think it is League of Legends.
More More OT: I'd say American Football because of the long term damage.
Every play, atleast 5 people fall down to the ground.
Study shows that 38 out of 40 people that played football had brain damage/head damage/etc.
American football is hard. Not only is it physically demanding you have to think quick when actually playing the game.
