Can someone please explain cubes?

I understand what they are and how they work, but I know they all changed due to Red.

From the looks of it, we have Red cubes, and Black cubes in the cash shop.

There are then also Craftsman cubes and Master craftsman cubes? How do they work, how do you make them, do they drop? etc.

Thanks!

@iCrisis: I didn't know you could extract them, that's comforting I guess. Was afraid these leftover fragments would go to waste.
So all the fragments like, say, miracle fragments, are pretty much useless now if you wanted to get more to get potential scrolls or something from it?
I think you can extract them?
RED cubes work as super cubes but they only cost as much as the regular cubes, which is great (700NX cheaper each)
Black cubes have a higher chance of raising potential tier and I believe you can see what you can and select whether or not you wish to keep the potential you have now or move to the potential the cube gives (Very useful depending on what's being cubed)
All other cubes except for Occult have been removed
No clue what's needed for crafting cubes

Red Cube => Reset potential (rare to legendary)
Black Cube => Reset the potential (rare to legendary) you can keep the old potential or keep the new one.
Craftsman Cube => Reset the potential (Rare to unique)
Meister Cube => Reset potential (Rare to legendary)
You can only get Red and Black cube from the cs.
Bosses can drop craftsman and meister cubes at a very low drop rate (reaaaaaaaaaaaally low)
you can also create Craftsman and meister cubes, you need to lvl up you smithing lvl to 11 (for craftsman) and 12 (for meister)
from lvl 10 to 12 you can only gain exp when you create 120+ items, like reverse, timeless, imperial etc...
if you reach lvl 11/12 on smithing you will need some items from a "legendary Vein" (a really really rare vein)
Thank you! I'm pretty bored of training so maybe this is something I can pursue.

A cube is a three-dimensional solid object bounded by six square faces, facets or sides, with three meeting at each vertex.
I understand how they work. I'm more interested in how to acquire the new craftsman cubes and what the differences are between those and the NX cubes.

OT: it resets your potential by drag and dropping a item with a revealed potential so it resets the potential
