When does 1% int 1% matk?

Just wondering, when people say have a 'balance' of int and matk, where is that 'balance' so 1% int = 1% matk?

you're doing something very wrong if you have 1.5x more matk than INT. even if it was INT:Matk, that's not a good number. comparing %INT to %Matk isn't that useful either because you should always have much less %Matk since there's only 2-3 sources while %INT is everywhere (and %Matk could be replaced with %Boss instead). %INT:Matk is a more interesting conversation but that's going elsewhere
You can get 1 Int to equal 1 M.Att but you will never get 1% Int to equal 1% M.Att.
You'd need a very high amount of % Int with a very low amount of M.Att to get 1 Int to equal 1 M.Att, which is quite stupid to do.
You got it backwards, you'd need a veeeery high amount of attack and very little int for int to be equal to attack, you need to have the same amount of both, but people have a massive advantage of 999int, compared to just like 200 or so attack, at best, from skills.

Add the fact that most equips are scrolled mainly for int (dom pendants for example, 2 int for each attack) and you get a mathematical mess once you start adding potentials.

simple, you have the same amount of % int as % magic attack

So for scrolling right now it's better to just get the RED scroll that give +8 matk?

I agree with the above, because its easy to get % INT on any other equip, but % Magic attack can only be gained on the primary and secondary weapon.

Uh 1% is pretty broad... It depends on your magic attack and int levels. You are never gonna get 1 int = 1 matk because that's what pre BB was and your damage would be god awful. It's usually anywhere from 1 matk = 3~6 , everyone is unique in their own way and yes I'd take % matk any day over int
