Connecting xbox controller to pc I have Windows 8 and a wired xbox 360 controller. Yesterday I hooked up the controller to my computer, recognized the device, and worked with no problem. I didn't have anything downloaded or installed at the time. It's the next day and now it's not working. When I hook it up, the light comes for a second and disappears. My computer doesn't recognize it either. I tried installing the accessory software (for windows 7), but still nothing. How do I get this to work again edit: nvm I got it

Cant open Sony Vegas I have Sony Vegas Pro 8 on Windows 8. Every time I try to open it, it gets stuck on "creating I/O manager" and makes me entire computer freeze unless I can close it or else I'll have to hold down the button on my computer to shut it off. I looked up solutions, but most of them said to end a process while it's stuck. That doesn't work for me because 1, I can't even find it on the task manager, and 2, my computer freezes within the next minute I try to open it. I don't plan on updating Sony Vegas unless I can find a free full download for it, and those versions can get stuck on creating I/O manager too.

Cant do attendance quest? Basically I log onto my xenon and I try to do the attendance quest for today, and there's nowhere for me to accept it. I talked to Cassandra directly but still no quest. I did it just fine on my lumi on mage too. Anyone else having this problem? And no, I didn't do it earlier today because the day isn't stamped
Comfortable positions while laying on the floor and on a laptop watching videos while drawing? I'm on my stomach with the laptop in front of me but it hurts my neck after a while. So any ideas? And don't tell me to get up and use a desk but now that I'm on the floor I don't want to get up

Question about the absolute ring event I pretty much missed the entire first phase except for yesterday. So all I have is a lv 1 ring. Can I still upgrade the first ring during the second phase and upgrade another ring on another character? Then transfer it to my main and get the absolute ring?

Computer randomly wont turn on? So it started a week ago. I tried to turn my computer on and nothing happened. My dad took it downstairs to clean it out and try to get it to work again. 2 days later, I randomly went up to it to try to turn it on it see if it worked, and surprisingly, it did. So we brought it back upstairs and it was working fine. The next day it didn't turn on again until I came back 4 hours later and it started working. Since then it's been running fine. Until I now, a week later, I try to turn it on and nothing's happening again. I don't think it's the power source because the TV is connected to the same one and it's been working normally. The monitor seems to turn on too, but not the keyboard or mouse. Whenever I try to

Wacom Bamboo Tablet pen wont work properly? I have the Wacom Bamboo Splash tablet and the pen just isn't working right. When I do strokes on paint tools sai, either a dot or nothing shows up. It'll only make a line if I go slowly, and even then, it doesn't give the faded lines effect. And when I open Bamboo Dock and try to "draw to open", nothing happens, even when I just use my mouse. I had this problem before, but it started working again, and now I'm back to it not working. halp guise. Note: I do believe that this is more suited under the tech section, but I think you artists would be more knowledgeable when it comes to tablets.
