would you date a single parent?
let's say you really like her/him and think they are perfect in every way. They are smart, have a stable 6 figure income, a house, a nice car, are financially independent, does volunteer work, donates to charity, loves animals, and looks like a model(or whatever your physical type is). would you? why or why not?

No, I'm seventeen.
If I had strong feelings for this person I would. Then again, it would also depend on the kid. I have a co-worker that is a single mom and has two kids. A 3 year old and a 1 year old. Last month she missed 1 day of work for each week of last month.
I would rather have an inexperienced partner to be honest. Good luck to me on that.
@WindowLegs: that is reality. people care about money, power, appearance and status. i wanted to understand what people think. i didn't want people to say no based on those factors; i want to know what being a single parent would make a person any more or less attractive when it comes to dating/relationships.

no. i do not like how you are trying to force me into saying yes. i follow gods path and he has not sent me down that one. i too am an open minded, radical right wing, conservative party voter. i do not like how society now objectifies people based on their income, appearance, personalities and living situation.
If they have all of that then why are they single?
sure why not, as long as me and the child can work i would consider it
If I love the woman, sure.
Just don't try to act like the kids dad, be more of a friend/role model for them and it'll be okay.
Absolutely not
I don't mind some baggage but a whole new passenger, I don't think so
date? absolutely. but further commitment would depend on how well I can get along with the kid because adjusting to a new parent can bring difficulties.
Yeah, basically this.
If this girl is as perfect as you say, she would at least have the same values I would regarding commitment, family, charity, and generousity so being there for a kid is no problem for me. Plus, most don't have any interest in "playing games," instead the focus is just getting to know you, which is what I would like. P.S I'm 19.
the question is would they date me
the answer is no
im 16 what this
Opportunity
Situational.

im 16 what this
Yes YES yES
I'd rather be CF(Child-Free), there's just too many benefits of being a DINK (Dual Income No Kids). A child is a life-long commitment, no thanks. No way would I ever have crotch-fruit nor would I ever agree to raise someone else's fq-trophy.
This is the symbol of my lifestyle:

This.
I'm 20 and I would.
Six figure income? I can finally become a housewife!
^ since I'm 19, nope. But in later years they wouldn't even have to be perfect and I wouldn't care so much.
Considering that I'm 18, nope.
I prefer a virgin so that we both don't know what we're doing.
