@laurico: They hardly enforce anything now lmao. I mean they give second and even third chances to well known hackers for crying out loud.

@gekkegerrit: Does maple work in a Docker? Like, have you personally tested it?

Forget VM's, they're absolete, go for Docker.

@zcrimsyn: Nexon can easily detect who is using a virtual machine, its just that they arent enforcing this rule.

@neveraddaplayer: They most likely won't ban you since it's extremely hard to detect unless you're stupid about it. However, it is against the TOS and talking about here is a no no. Anything that alters the game in anyway whether it's botting, changing your game ui, or duel client is against the rules and can be possibly be banned for it. It's like buying mesos. Nexon most likely won't do anything to you but you can potentially get banned from doing so.

Just get a cheap laptop, maple isn't CPU intensive.

You can do it with vmware it's not that hard. Ayumi has a great guide

I can confirm that virtualbox doesn't work, though. So don't waste your time trying that.
Maple's client can detect when it's running on a VM, usually.

Via virtual machines and other applications, although I think discussion of such programs might go against Nexon's ToS (and you risk getting banned for using them).
