MS Has Changed Too Much

Don't even bother reading this rant if you don't want to get involved. All opinions are appreciated.

Big Bang has been the start of a whole new dramatic change for Maplestory, which is good, I guess. Nexon's been updating MS so much, trying so hard and giving us new content. Change is good, is it not?
But ever since BB has happened, things started to go downhill. Aftershock was okay, but it led to bad opinions about UA/UEs. Chaos update, everyone was excited, but it was delayed a long time. PvP. Jeez. Everyone loved it at first, until hackers came in. Now it's completely changed and it's impossible to get a full room anymore. Ascension was okay, dusted off some jobs, but still brought many bad opinions.
And now Legend is coming up. Mercedes and Demon Slayer, I don't have to say much. Cannoneers are average, normal I should say.
Good thing job reorganizations are coming up, but it's not like what it used to be.

I myself played Pre-BB, had a Bowman then switched to DBs. Yeah, change is good, but not all change is good.
But this is only my opinion. Other people have their own opinions, like you probably.
Typing this rant only released my thoughts, not much of venting really.

Thanks for reading this. See ya later Basil.
The only reason you don't have anything bad to say about Cannoneers is because they're basically more mobile Mechanics, who got rebalanced a while back.

I, for one, don't even care about how strong classes are. I don't know how much damage any attacks of any of the new Legend classes do, but all I know is that I lvoe the gameplay style of Mercedes and I want to make one. If you make one for damage you're doing it wrong.
What is bad about making a class for damage. What if someone finds hitting high damage fun. No one would want to hit high damage and not find that hitting high damage is fun.
I see these threads daily now. Every single day one of these pop up, and they all restate the exact same thing over and over ad infinitum.

I've played since the beta of this game, roughly seven years ago. I still enjoy the game, if it was the same game it was all those years ago it would be boring and worn out. They have to change things to keep the game continuing, they can't just leave the game how it is and expect people to keep playing and be happy with it. The game is better now than it has been in the past with all the new content and things to do, if you don't like the new content then why do you still play this game?

Honestly, if everyone who makes these threads thinks the game is going downhill so fast and is no longer the game they love, then don't play it. How hard is this? Nobody seems to remember the cruddy things about the old maple, they all look at it with nostalgia and think it was the greatest thing ever. Did you play when literally every map was being hacked in by vac hackers and you couldn't do anything about it because of the limited amount of maps? Did you play when you got 5-10% an hour and that was considered pretty good? Those times were boring and took forever to do anything. You couldn't boss, because no good bosses had even been released yet to even attempt to fight, and when Zakum was released it was insanely hard and took forever with a godly party; AKA the top few elites in the server, not you.

The game is enjoyable by everyone now, you can choose which aspect to choose to play on. If you want to talk to people go do party quests or hang around in town and talk to people who happen to be standing around as well. If you want to train you go train with your friends. You can do what you want, back in the "old days" all you could do was sit in Henesys or go train literally all day with barely any noticeable difference. There weren't many other options.

I'm just so sick of seeing these threads bashing Nexon for turning the game into what they see as an abomination then continuing to play and whining about it. If you hate it, don't play. Wow that was hard.
I'm not sure if it's just me, but I continue to play and whine about it because somehow it helps. People send in tickets, suggesting things to do, after they QQ about it. I just have to put that out there. You assume I hate MS after reading the thread, I understand that, but honestly, I love it. I'm only saying that some of the changes aren't good.

I like MS how it used to be a lot more. But maple is still fun now. I think the major drop for me was BB, it changed all those memories. If BB never happened, a lot more ppl would probably still be playing (as some quit) maple.

Clearly TC is saying things DO in fact change, just not EVERYTHING is a good change. You act like you can't read.

Ever read the book Anthem? If you don't embrace change, we'll end up like the people in that book.

It was the same way back then tho. I mean they're customer service always sucked. I remember back in 09 I send a ticket and they finally answer a hour ago.
I don't think things have changed too much, I love the new gameplay.

I DO think that one thing has not changed enough, and that's the company in-charge. There customer service has always been mediocre and there are more bugs/glitches/hacks than ever.

I still haven't gotten over the fact that I lost almost all my mesos from the Mushroom shop glitch (all items in the shop were deleted from unsched. server check) and never got any of them back. Things like this ruin the game for me... not new maps or potential stats.
Its not the overamount of change thats the problem, its the idiotic changes they implement, like the potential system. There should be no item or combination of items in the game that can give you more than twice the amount of a stat or 4x your damage, its just insane. Also monsters are so weak now its just no fun to kill them.
