logged in from different Ip?

Any time i change characters i get a message saying that i logged in from a different ip than last time and transffering is restricted for 10 mins.
What is going on here? Any way to stop this from happening. I'm using maples on just one computer on my home internet.

I noticed that it happened when I log into my character on a computer (on the same network) that I do not normally use.
this is correct but i would think it wouldn't continually do this. Basically i log in just now, get that message, figured it was just cause i hadn't been on in so long and i have a new router since then. I log into my old main, then change characters without logging out, get the message again, then switch back to my old main again and still get the message. (was trying to transfer equips in storage)
is it supposed to just keep displaying even though I'm not quitting the game or anything? All characters are on one account so im not account switching.
Yes, it does this. Just stay logged into the character for ~15 minutes (or whatever it says; I think its 15min) and it should go away after that.
It's supposed to be a measure to "prevent" hackers from swapping/dropping equips off of an account they just hacked (which is likely running off a different IP) in rapid succession, supposing that they won't want to wait a quarter of an hour before moving onto another account or back to their own.

EDIT: Most likely it is your new router. Since the hacking happened years ago, I don't think they would still be accessing your account, unless they're particularly vicious.

Happened to me before with the id already logged in. The only reason that would appear is that most likely, someone is accessing your account.

I would assume that either someone else has logged into your account, or perhaps you've logged into your account from another ip.
That's really the only reason why you'd receive that message. I get it a ton because I'm always playing maple from different places, but if you're just using it at home then you might want to change your info/submit a ticket to Nexon to be safe.

Either someone else is logging onto your account, or your own ip is changing a lot.

Change your info and see if it stops?..
