Pokemon Sun amp Moon SR Count
Day 8 of soft resetting for my shiny Rowlet. Still no luck. What about everyone else? I have to be reaching the 1000 count or higher of SRs. I stopped counting.

ive never seen a shiny in my life
I personally would never SR for a shiny starter, though I do SR for genders/natures
When I get my shiny starters I usually obtain them through the Masuda method.
Did you find it yet?
I dont care about stats until pokebank is available. Then the game is truly on! I want my 6iv ditto back.
@beefly: Lol...that's a bit too much on all their Explorers, most are useless anyway. I did it on my Dual Blade and my Night Lord for the Vampire skill (Drain HP).
@hualicious: They're the kind of people who did the Lunar Dew quest on all their Explorers.
I don't know how far you've gotten with it but I'm trying to breed a shiny, competitive, Jolly Rowlet. the closest I've gotten is 5 IVs max and one 30 IV on speed. The breeding goes on!

Is it really worth it? It's like you get the game on release day and since then you are doing SR for many hours a day trying to get a Shiny starter rather than just go play and enjoy the game. You are better off breeding the Pokemons for Shiny. At the same time you could get better IV Pokemons from breeding too. Breeding good stats Pokemon require a long process, just like getting Shiny Pokemons.
I didn't get the game yet, but I won't be doing the SR for a Shiny starter, not even for a neutral or a better nature.
You get a shiny and then it has a hindering nature.
