do you actually need a mousepad
and are hard or cloth mousepads better for laser sensors

Oppai mouse pads are really uncomfortable all mouse pads with wrist rest are annoying.
And yes it does matter because rough mouse pads have more rough cloth sticking out, they are small you won't see it but when the mouse picks it up there is millions sticking out and the mouse goes slower on them trying to scan it.
With speed mouse pads there is less cloth, and some mouse pads use the same materials as yoga pants, less fiber= faster tracker the sensor does not pick up any fiber it moves faster

They're actually not that comfortable unfortunately. Oppaipads are more of a novelty thing.

If you use a laser mouse than no, but it feels nicer and is better for the mouse if you do have a pad.
