it's even harder for me because I don't have any experience.....
I used Snagajob and I listed myself on Care.com as a babysitter. no successes so far.
@iHibari You can also try job sites like indeed. There's usually plenty of results. For instance: Part time retail jobs in LA I know you're probably not in LA, but it's just an example lol.

The more the better.
You don't know about ojt? Talk to your counselor, if you got your license, you can leave school early and go to work, it counts as an elective.
I do know about OJT but my mom won't let me get my license until when I'm a senior. I plan to go to Taiwan after I graduate for vacation and try to get my license there and come back to the US and just take the driving test and get my US license. idk if it'll work that way but either way, I wont be getting a license anytime soon. NOT EVEN FOR MY INTERNSHIP
what also sucks is that I'm an eleventh grader next yr so i have to prep for SATs and I also have dance after school.. I've been looking for a job since the end of ninth grade... o-o
@iHibari: Aha yep, I get lunch and dinner.

Doesn't really matter right now. For the time being, stores generally have all the workers they need because people applied earlier, so they could work now
7-eleven?
@iHibari: Go for it! I applied to one close to me, but they never got back to me and told me to apply again in late August/September. With connections, you'll have a better short for sure.
At least you won't finish your shifts smelling like buffet food. Ugh.
Lol. buffet food... do you get free food?

CALL THEM. Do it a few times. After lunch time they are more prone to answer.
If possible, definitely let a family member or someone close to you refer you. I havefriends who got jobs simply because their older siblings worked there, and didn't even have to write a resume! I was in the same boat as you, but my aunt got me a job at the place she works.
well my mom wants to refer me to Bath and Body Works since she used to work there... but idk

Companies probably hire most in the early summer. Waiting till mid July kinda messes with your odds.
Just try every grocery store/regular store/mall store/anything that requires someone running a cash register
