Upgrading 140/150 to sweet water equips

So after the maintenance I tried it out, it does not blow up your item, but the success rate is fairly low, and it takes 10 Denaros for each try.

Just putting that out there
So just to confirm:
I have a perfected 1h empress sword (131+80 att)
Therefor if i convert to sweet water i will get (178+80 att + including the other stats like 30%)
Correct?
Your +80 atk will be kept, potential will reset but keeps rank.

Your stats gained will be kept, and your pot rank, but the pot itself will reset
@infinteZero Actually, the anvil it mentions isn't for keeping anviled items, but it's an alternate method to upgrade that has a higher success rate than using the npc. The anvil drops from the same bosses that drop the sweet water equips.

And for that matter, @Landicho I think it's safe to assume it won't keep your anviled look, given how the "material" equip is consumed if it's successful.

will it transfer my anvil? can u explain how it works
they said you need a special item to transfer anviled look droped from bosses in notes i think if i remember right... (yes going off memory ... lol)

anyway still not worth it...at least i dont see it worth it unless say you have a fafnir katara
and its 5~6att above avg scrolled close to perfect... or perfect
enhanced 15 times (might not be worth it before hand with chance of MEE but who knows)
stats transfered to SW katara thats already 5~6att above avg

and all that just to get some more attack and one more enhance on the item

in kataras case i say its worth it as katara has 30% boss on it but it would be alot work to make it worth it....

@Landicho: I'm not sure, my weapon's not anvil'd and I tried 10 times and it all failed

@xtripled: If you're referring to the word I suggest you google it up first
