There's two parts to the tv-show Supernatural.
Seasons 1-5 and seasons 6- current one at any given year.

The former, I can safely say, allowed me to experience one of the greatest adventures i've experienced in a tv-show. Not many tv-shows can come anywhere close.
The latter is extremely repetitive and dry. This is mainly due to lack of direction and the fact that the original showrunner left.

I won't spoil too much.
Seasons 1-2 focus more on building the mythology and mood of the show. This is when you tend to discover who the characters are and their respective idiosyncrasies.
3-4 starts to develop a sort of bigger picture. Season 5 is the climax of this. The amazing fact is season 5 also involves things you would remember from the first few seasons.

One thing I can say for sure, aside from the awesome humour and unique characters, is that this show is an emotional rollercoaster. You'll know what I mean when you reach the last episode of season 5.
Go for it. I got hooked immediately!

I still haven't watched seasons 10 and 11 but I definitely agree with a lot of what's been said here

Sam and Dean go on some pretty epic adventures, the storylines are generally solid, the action is great, and everyone's very attractive. It's a great show to binge on, and will give you lots to talk about lol

Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, True Blood, 24, House of Cards for action/drama.

I dunno, there are just a lot of good shows that are easy to get addicted to once you start watching them.

I watched it when it first came out and followed it until the end of season 5. I stopped watching after that because honestly it got kinda boring. Seasons 1-5 though were amazing imo.

Supernatural is a show for people with specific taste, it is a very good show and worth watching every episode of it. The beginning 2 seasons get repetitive and boring real fast but if you manage to get through those, than the other seasons are great.

Supernatural has completed 10 seasons and will start its 11th next month. The series was intended to be 5 seasons which, imo, are the best. I still watch it and enjoy it but as big of a fan as I am of the show, I admit that the show was at its best the first 5 seasons, I hated seasons 6 and 7 and thought that seasons 8 and 9 got better then 6 and 7 but still nothing compared to seasons 4 & 5 (aka the best seasons imo). Season 10 had no direction honestly, but the 200th episode was nice.

I don't blame him, live-action TV is generally not worth watching
The only live series I've ever really enjoyed was Arrested Development

I suppose that I never had interest in it. I do love live-action movies if this satisfies you.
