Weird chess game So, me and my brother were playing chess, we were down to King for me, King+Queen for him, I had 9 moves on stalemate, his queen cornered me so i took it, does that count as my tenth move and qualifying it as my stalemate win?

Yu-Gi-Oh card duel So my brother and I were dueling, he summons Destiny Hero Doom Lord. He uses the effect to remove my Machina Sniper. After 2 turns being removed, It comes back to the field. But, the problem is, My brother has Stumbling activated which switches all monsters that are Normal summoned/Flip/Special to defense position. Does Machina Sniper come back in defense? The effect of Doom Lord says, "The monster is RETURNED" not summoned. Who's right? cause right now, I'm losing 12 duels to 15...
