Empress gear without the claw or just upgrade gear?
So, I've saved up some mesos to upgrade some equipment. Thing is, I'm already satisfied with my current claw, and upgrading to a raven horn claw that is nicely scrolled is probably way out of my budget anyway. So i was just wondering, should I buy the empress set without the claw (therefore not getting the full empress set stats)? Or just upgrade by buying better %luk items? Which would give me a better range and which would cost less (assuming for the %luk items I wanted to increase %luk by around 10-30%)? I'm guessing but I think I have around 40-50% ish luk. Even if you cube up the Empress, you'll get about the same range and all with top/bot without the 6 set's 30 attack on Empress. The main factor of the Thief Empress set is the claw.
Perfected Empress claw is 15b+ in Bera. I think it's worth getting the 5 set if you plan on cubing/scrolling them. What's the stats on your current top/bottom/cape/hat/gloves?

7b? Damnn hahaha. Just so I don't have to make another thread, how much would my epic 123 atk VL, 5 times enhanced 3 lined (atk +12 and I think atk or all stat 3%, and some other crappy thing) cost?
Sell it out for a fair chunk of mesos. If possible, throw some NX or get some WS and trade what you got for your claw + extra for a perfected Empress. It's about 7B for one in Scania, not sure about Bera.
Yup haha, well I managed to potential it so now it's 135 atk and 3% atk from when it used to be 123 atk with other sucky potentials
Edit: @TheBestCB, I would it's just that even after selling my 135 atk VL, I don't think I'd have the funds for a decently scrolled raven horn claw with more or less the same atk, and then even if I did then I wouldn't have enough funds for the empress set :S Decisions decisions...
Sell your Von Leon claw and get empress if you aren't planning to get 100%+ Luk on non empress equips
What're the stats of your current Claw? The VL claw I'm guessing
That's exactly what I thought, with the five set bonus you still get an atk increase if I'm correct, but you dont get boss dmg or the 30 atk increase which kinda blows, if I cold get my hands on a 120+ atk raven horn I'd probably get the set, but I think it'd be too hard too find. It's just that each item in the set gives a lot of luk and dex so I'm just wondering if that would compensate or be better than getting luk percent items? Cause in addition to the significant amount of Luk and Dex you still get set bonuses...
The 5 set bonus isn't bad at all, but the primary goL is to be able to get that last 30 attack as well as Boss 30. It's up to you really. Personally, I think it defeats the purpose of going Raven Chaser without getting the Boss 30 and extra 30 attack, which greatly helps boost your range
