Zero can totally avoid death from Arkarium's Full Map attack if Alpha/Beta Tag little bit before the hit or during the hit. I'm sure this would work with other bosses 1HKO moves. One thing isn't clear though; Is this an unintended glitch or not.
@nhan1st: That isn't what I mean =P. I mean its pretty much impossible to actually be hit by the attack (as in it actually damages you) and survive it, Besides going by that definition I could survive it with reincarnation!
I'm not sure, but with red patch, paladin divine shield does also work against %hp attack. With our godmode off, we may be able to tank it using the divine shield counter. I may be wrong.
@aznanimality: How so? AFAIK the highest possible damage reduction on the attack is.......... 50% from Paladin post-RED?, which would reduce the damage down to 499,999. Only class I could see possibly tanking that kind of damage would be a Demonic Avenger with EXTREMELY high levels of funding. Also do bear in mind when I say "survive" I mean having the attack hit you, taking damage, and then not actually dying (which is why things like final feint don't count, it still technically kills you)

(Thats assuming of course this attack is affected by damage reduction, I have no idea if it is or not)
A paladin turns on godmode hyper skill. 499,999? I'm invincible for 20 seconds!

You're so cool.
Also it's not impossible to survive if you have the proper tools

The basic point here is that Medus Arkaria (the actual name of this attack iirc @ soul weapons) is IMPOSSIBLE to survive, even with Zero's cheaty ass crap it still TECHNICALLY kills you since your death counter drops by 1. In short people shouldn't try to cheat the system since it doesn't really work out well (makes these things less fun too imo), just dodge the thing, pretty sure it has a max range of like 800 PX f5

@Imaginal: That is not what I was talking about.
The very second the FMA hits, his death count drops. Then it drops again when you cut forward (which is the part you're talking about).
I mention it because the game isn't ignoring that the person is dying, which makes it a useless way to avoid death. It's just like activating final feint or using a potion pot.
You come back to life instantly when you die so it seems like you've ignored death, but the death count clearly shows you aren't. The only advantage of it is that you'll have all your buffs still, which isn't a big advantage for ark since you can rebuff on his other map.
That's really weird, can't think of any other way to explain what happens at around 35 seconds.
Clearly he dies.
He does dies but the game switched the characters and was still considered alive since Alpha and Beta have Separate Health Bars, Clearly did die but switched while hit caused the game to ignore the death so the other character took the hit and the new one lives. Simply Substitution Jutsu lol
He avoided respawning and rebuffing but his death count dropped.
Death Count dropped because i cut the video because i had to wait a while for the full map attack to appear and I sometimes attacked while DR was active lol

Zero has a skill like Heaven's Door/Final Feint. I just don't know if it's supposed to decrease the death count though.
Potion pot/pet buff gem.

What part of this video was a zero doing anything.
Waste of 54 seconds.
They don't have Potion Pot.
