Help for 9th Growth Unfunded?
What do I do if I can't get Magic Mastery 10 or Flame Wheel 10? I have less than 40m mesos and no way to afford NX.
I have killed Hilla 5 times and Zak 4 times and I just can't get these books. I've only gotten to 121, so I don't have too much SP leftover (only 8) but I don't think Ill be getting skill books anytime soon. I do crap damage at LHC with Earthquake and I'm practically useless at bossing. Should I start putting SP into Illusion? Or what. I have a 111 att staff, like maybe 4% int and a 9k range. I just SUCK.

@above: Its been more than 4 now.... still no luck. In fact, the only book I've found is ACA 10, and that I didnt pick up.
Goddammit, now I have to farm for book, this is Vindictus all over again.
Keep at it. Get a funded ish friend to help.
What does unfunded mean? Like no meso or no nx? Can I buy those skill books from cashshop?

Though not as relevant but before I got my Flame Wheel and Magic Mastery (which was way back during Chaos patch), I went to surf around the channels in hopes of finding a Pianus whenever I'm free. With a few of the Miniature Pianus, I went about to do my quests to get Hero's Will.
I felt that its productive and it might be viable to invest a point in it because if you do Dojo here and there to raise your traits (belts to get Ambition and Charm and clearing the rounds for Ambition and Willpower) or if you fight Ani at LHC daily for the free potions, they might come in handy when you are inflicted by a status effect. Also, at times I use it instead of an all-cure (at Zakum for example) because I find that it activates faster than a potion though it might just be me. However, just weigh the importance of it and decide if you want it.
Also, just a note here, a while back I think someone posted that Magic Flare does more damage than Earthquake over time. The only factors Earthquake has over Magic Flare is its ability to hit 2 more monsters and have more Vertical Range upwards as well as Horizontal Range backwards.
Even so, you can still use your lower growth skills such as Dragon Thrust; it does an amazing ability to pin monsters when you don't have Flame Wheel yet. Though it does requires you to get close to the monsters.[/quote]

I'm a level 157 evan that has no Magic Mastery.
Even after like 30 zak runs before/after the Zakum drop rate nerf.
Don't have any mesos to buy FW 20, Illusion 20.
I have 96 free SP right now.
It looks like I might be doing the same if I dont find 'em soon. Not quit, but take a break.
So In the mean time should I put anything into Illusion?
