General

Does this make sense to you?

I have a stonetooth and a Dragon Claymore.

ST:
att 116
All stats +6%
Crit rate +8%

DC:
att 125
str +9
10 % chance to apply blind when attacking.

When I am not buffed with DC, my str = 1002
When I am not buffed with ST, my str = 1049

When I am not buffed with DC, my range = 7499 ~ 10713
When I am not buffed with ST, my range = 7476 ~ 10680

Everything makes sense so far, right?

Well,

When I use rage with DC, my range = 8293 ~ 11847
When I use rage with ST, my range = 8307 ~ 11867

LONG STORY SHORT:

Stonetooth rage > Dragon Claymore rage > Dragon Claymore unbuffed > Stonetooth unbuffed

Am I missing something here?
Also, which sword should I keep?

It is the difference in your STR and DEX because you have +6% all stats on the Stonetooth, since attack is a multiplier on your base attributes, you get a larger bonus per point of attack when you have higher STR/DEX than when you do not. If you were to take some regular 10 attack wg, or an onyx apple or something, you would notice the Stonetooth being even stronger compared to your other weapon.

Basically, because you have higher STR/DEX with the stonetooth you get more bang for your buck when you add pure attack through other means.

EDIT: Also bear in mind that the extra STR/DEX is applied to the 116 weapon attack of the stonetooth as well

reference to ultimate mathematics guide to MS.
Pretty much the more att you have the less effective att becomes.
Example, if you got 100 att + 10 att that 10 att is 10% increase in damage.
If you had 200 att + 10 att, that 10 att is only a 5% increase in damage.
Rage made your att higher which made your weapon att less effective.

Could it be that "All stats +6%" is sequenced AFTER rage?

Thus making the multiplier a little bit higher.

Sorry if the math is off in this one. Just a hypothesis.

The ST for sure, since it's a faster attack speed.
